Terms
Terms of service
Short, because the service is simple: datamind.earth exists for DataMind OS, and for nothing else.
Last updated: 10 October 2026
1. Who may use the service
The datamind.earth map service (tiles, styles, fonts and terrain) is provided by DataMind only to customers with an active DataMind OS installation, through that installation. Access is granted by the installation's DataMind platform key and ends when the key is revoked or the subscription ends.
2. No public API
There is no public API. Requesting tiles outside DataMind OS, sharing or extracting installation keys, scraping, bulk downloading, caching beyond the headers we send, or reselling the service is not permitted.
3. The playground
The public playground is a demonstration of the engine, limited per session in time, tiles and zoom. It is not a service and may change or close at any time. Automated access to the playground is not permitted.
4. Zero data retention
We store no request contents, IP addresses, keys or coordinates. We keep one daily count of tiles served per customer. Your business data never travels to datamind.earth.
5. Map data and attribution
The map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and available under the Open Database License; terrain is © Mapterhorn and Copernicus. Maps shown or exported from DataMind OS must keep their on-map credit. The full list of sources and licences is on the attribution page. The map data itself is not covered by the DataMind product licence.
6. Borders and names
Borders and place names follow one written cartographic policy, applied consistently by the styles. Their depiction is not an endorsement of any territorial claim by DataMind.
7. Availability
We aim for a fast and continuous service and refresh the map data weekly. Service levels, support and liability are those of your DataMind OS agreement.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. Questions: reach the DataMind team via datamind.com.
